Summer Camps (2010)

INTRODUCTORY CAMP

August 9-13 & August 16-20

Our Introductory camp is dedicated to house league goaltenders and goaltenders new to the position

The camp will emphasize development of the basic technical skills goalies require to be successful in the modern game, as well as to develop effective strategies to defend every situation a goalie will encounter during a game.  The camp will provide both a challenging and fun environment designed to help every goalie improve there technical skills.

Our Advance Camp is an invitation only camp for students that are playing at the A, AA or AE level or have been deemed to be rep level goaltenders by Ron Mays.

This camp is not for everyone.  Becoming an elite level athlete in any sport requires a tremendous investment of time, energy and effort.  For this reason, only those goaltenders whose high level of skill is matched by their passion and work ethic are permitted to participate in this program.

The program is demanding in nature, and is designed to push each goaltender’s game to its highest level by enhancing pre-existing strengths and turning weaknesses into new found strengths.

• Maximum of 24 students will be accepted at each camp at a cost of $725.00 + tax.

• 3.5 hours of on ice instruction daily, 17.5 hours on ice for the week.

• 1 hour off-ice training session daily.

• 30 minute flexibility stretching session daily.

• 30 minute mental training session daily.

• 45 minute video session daily including examples of pro and junior goaltenders.

• A free Ron Mays Goaltending School jersey for each student.

• More direct instruction from the head instructor, Ron Mays, than any other goaltending school today.

ELITE CAMP
